DANIEL G. BUSH joined the firm in October 2008. His practice includes representation of public and private sector labor unions in unfair labor practice proceedings and collective bargaining negotiations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bush was the lead negotiator on various national hospital contracts for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which focuses on uniting workers in the key service sectors. He has represented clients before the National Labor Relations Board, conducted internal union elections, and drafted state statutes and local ordinances. He successfully argued to protect employees from retaliation when they speak out against unsafe practices and conditions in the workplace. Mr. Bush also worked for the SEIU as an organizer, where he led hospital campaigns through strategic development, staff management, and coordinated community support.
During law school, Mr. Bush demonstrated his commitment to public interest law through his work with the Yale Workers' Rights Project representing low-wage workers and the Innocence Project at Cardozo Law School, where he represented inmates seeking post-conviction DNA testing and relief. |
